Enhanced 10.8.4 Kernel For Haswell

Since OS X 10.8.5 or Mavericks 10.9 has not been released, I decided to enhance the 10.8.4 kernel to allow it to boot on Haswell based machines.

Here are the changes I made:

In the file osfmk/i386/cpuid.h

Added:
#define CPUID_MODEL_HASWELL 0x3C

In the file osfmk/i386/cpuid.c

Added:
case CPUID_MODEL_HASWELL:
